Virtuous Investment Circle (ViC) Organisation Chart

ViC Committee

The ViC Committee serves as a guardian to ensure that key decisions are aligned with the organisation’s mission, vision, values and rules. The ViC Committee consists of seven core members (voting) including an Executive Director (non-voting/ex officio).
The ViC Committee also screens potential angel investors recommended by existing Members to determine their eligibility for membership. New Members are approved by the ViC Committee through simple majority in a voting process.

Profiles of Committee Members

Executive Director

As a manager-led organisation, ViC is driven by an Executive Director who is responsible for its overall planning & execution, handling of deal flows, as well as the managing of relationships with key stakeholders, such as Members (angel investors), network partners, Government agencies and sponsors.
The Executive Director reports to the ViC Committee, and is also responsible for coordinating with and supporting both Members and entrepreneurs.

Advisors

ViC has a panel of appointed Advisors who come from various backgrounds, with extensive technical, business and investment knowledge. An Advisor’s role is to assist Members and the Executive Director in evaluating deals (companies) on a pro bono basis. As ViC welcomes companies from various industries and sectors, certain deals may require specific domain expertise from our Advisors to ensure that they are fairly evaluated.

Members

The Members (angel investors) in ViC are not only high net worth individuals that have the financial capacity to invest, they are also savvy investors who have years of industry knowledge, business experience and contacts that entrepreneurs may tap into to help them succeed.
There is no membership fee, and new members are exclusively invited to join by existing members. All potential angels will be vetted by the ViC Committee.
